📘 The Bible teaches that the purpose of our life is to know God, believe in Jesus Christ, and live in fellowship with Him.

This idea is especially clearly expressed in the verses: John 3:16, Romans 5:1, and John 17:2–3.

John 3:16

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life.

Romans 5:1

Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

John 17:2-3

"Since you have given him authority over all flesh, to give eternal life to all whom you have given him. And this is eternal life, that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent."

Proverbs 3:5–6

"Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths."

Ecclesiastes 12:13

"The end of the matter; all has been heard. Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man."

Micah 6:8

"He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to gwalk humbly with your God?"

Matthew 22:37–39

"And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself."

John 10:10

"The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full."
